Target Audience

• This activity is intended for health care professionals engaged in the care of women, including physicians, physician associates/assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, and other clinicians involved in the recognition, evaluation, and management of iron deficiency, anemia, and bleeding disorders across the female lifespan

Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

• Recognize and evaluate iron deficiency across the female lifespan
• Evaluate abnormal bleeding in women’s health
• Apply current evidence and emerging diagnostic guidelines to the evaluation and management of iron deficiency
• Assess the broader clinical impact of iron deficiency and bleeding on women’s health
